The Board
of Directors' primary responsibilities
are prioritized as follows:
Ensuring that the
ministry of Edinbrook Church is biblical,
relevant, and effective.
Envisioning the future
ministry of Edinbrook Church and leading the church in those directions.
Supporting the
Executive Team in the ongoing tasks of
achieving Edinbrook’s ministry
objectives.
Initiating strategic
task groups or committees (such as building committees, long-range
planning teams, etc.) which will enable the vision to become reality.
Identifying and electing the Chairman Of the Board from among
its members.
Acting as the Search
Committee as the need for a Senior Pastor arises. It is encouraged
that several other individuals of their choosing would be included in
this process.
Acting on behalf of
the church in extreme or extenuating circumstances when the situation
does not permit the possibility of a special church meeting regarding
the said congregational issue.
