At Edinbrook, we will do our best to provide pastoral care and walk alongside of you through difficult circumstances. There are several great resources available if you know where to look. Take a moment to explore these resources below. There's a season for everything, and we want to help guide you through.
COUNSELING
No one is exempt from going through life’s difficulties, whether it’s a personal issue, a marriage problem or a family struggle. For a vast majority of these challenges, we can go to a trusted friend, family member or a small group for prayer and advice. However, there are times when problems become more complicated and need the guidance of a professional to help us get to a healthier place in life.
Edinbrook Church is here to help as best we can. Our pastoral staff can offer prayer support and give biblical guidance to your situation. However, there are times to call on the professional help of a counselor or therapist. When selecting a specific counselor, it's important to make a good assessment of their qualifications and areas of expertise. The Twin Cities have several Christian therapists that offer quality care. We primarily recommend the following counseling organizations:

DIVORCE
Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. It is a great resource for individuals who are considering or have gone through a separation or divorce. This 13-week seminar is combined with small group discussion. Topics include anger, loneliness, new relationships, how kids handle divorce, financial survival and more. Sessions are offered throughout the year and you can join at any time during a session.

GRIEF
GriefShare is a great resource for anyone who has lost a loved one. It’s is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. Don't go through the grieving process alone. This 13-week session includes video and small group discussion. Topics include varying emotions, challenges, the journey of grief, relationships, guilt and anger, heaven, what do I live for now. Sessions are offered throughout the year, and you can join at any time during a session.
