We can only imagine the anxiety David felt as he found himself marching into battle alongside the Philistines, ready to fight against his own people, the Israelites. Although this situation resulted from David's own foolishness, God still came to his rescue. Let’s be honest: we all make mistakes. The good news is that God loves us and will help us, even in spite of ourselves. We often say we believe this, but do we truly embrace it? Church, are we genuinely resting in God’s grace?
