Holding on to grudges and getting back at others who wrong us is the way of the world. When people treat us poorly and power over us, it’s tempting to strike back with a snarky comment or a rebellious attitude--at the very least, to despise such people. But what does Jesus say about this? Are modern-day Christians really being “Christian” or have we started to act like everyone else in the world? In this message we will look at the difficult challenge Jesus gives us to serve our enemies but discover why it’s the key to experiencing more of God’s redemptive power in our lives, country, and world.
