In John 6 Jesus tells His followers they must feed on His flesh and drink His blood! Wow! Just imagine what people must have been thinking who heard Jesus say this. This has got to be one of the wildest statements in the entire Bible. So, why does Jesus say this? Was it to be controversial? Just to get a reaction? Jesus says this because feasting on His body and blood is absolutely essential if a person desires eternal life. In this message we will discuss Jesus’ claim as the bread of life and why it is so important for our life (and culture) today.

John 6:35

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
