In 1 Samuel 23, David gets word of a town that needs protection from a Philistine attack. But if David acts on this news and comes to their rescue, it puts him in a precarious situation. Saul will get word of his whereabouts and come hunting for him. But he also doesn’t have the heart to sit by idly and do nothing. What should David do? We all have moments and big decisions in our lives where we need direction. These fork-in-the-road moments can seem scary if we don’t know what to do. But David gives us an incredible example to follow in these situations.
