1 Samuel Ch. 8 - Israel Demands a King
Brent Hall | September 29
Even after victory and being established in the land, Israel demands a king so that they can be like the other nations. God proves Himself over and over in our lives, and yet even as believers we unwittingly take our eyes off of Yahweh and put our ultimate trust in people and politics. Why do we do this? Why has the US become so divisive and obsessed with politics and political leaders? Could Christians be part of the blame? Could Christians be missing out on what Yahweh wants to do? In this message we will look at why people clamor for kings (and queens) and how Christians can lead the way towards better things.
