Some things just seem obvious. Like when Jesus calls us to be salt and light. That seems like Christianity 101 stuff. But sometimes we forget. Sometimes we get it wrong. As we look back on Jesus’ teaching from the Sermon on the Mount about being salt and light, we will discuss what the original hearers would have heard and how we can translate that meaning to us today.
