The Gate
BRENT HALL | AUGUST 20
To get on the other side of a barrier that we can’t climb or go around, we need an opening, a door, a gate. Jesus teaches us that He is the gate that gives us access through the barrier. But why do we want to be on the other side? Why do we want access at all? Is the reality on the other side worth the cost of surrendering to the shepherd? What if we think we have access, but we don’t? In this message we will talk about the core of the Gospel, which many people miss, and how to make sure we have access to it.
John 10:7, 9
7 Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep... 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out and find pasture.”
