The Good Shepherd
TYLER ROLAND | AUGUST 27
I don’t know about you, but sometimes I struggle being lead. Honestly, I am not good at it, because I like to be in charge of my own life. But in John 10 Jesus describes himself as the Good Shepherd, and a shepherd’s job is to lead the flock. This means that we have a Shepherd who is good and can be trusted, and we can choose to follow him. This Sunday we are going to ask the questions why does it matter that Jesus is the Good Shepherd? And if he is in fact good, what does that mean for our life?
John 10:11, 14
11“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep."
14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me,"
